Mr. Unyime Idem – Board Chairman Mr. Unyime Idem, the CEO of Idems Ultimate Limited is a Telecom Service Provider, Management Consultant, Entrepreneurial Guru, Banker, Chartered Manager, Indigenous Investor, Social Worker, Philanthropist, Motivational Speaker and Role Model. He has over two decades of working and business experience. His business indulgences have led him into partnership with several companies in various sectors of the Nigerian economy and even beyond. These include Vmobile Network Ltd, Celtel Network Ltd, Zain Network Ltd, Airtel Network Ltd, Globacom Nig Ltd, MTN Nig Communications Ltd, Zoom Mobile Network Ltd, Visafone Communications ltd, Starcomms Network ltd and Etisalat Nig Ltd. Others are Dangote Cement Plc, United Cement Plc, Samsung Communications Inc, Nokia, LG Mobile, Dell Computers and HP Computers. The need to be self employed, self reliant and a wealth creator prompted Mr. Idem to establish Ultimate Venture Nigeria, his first company. He is MD/CEO of Idems Ultimate Limited 2005 to date, Chairman First Network Limited 2007 to date, Chairman Ibom Communications Limited 2008 to date, Chairman Ibom Cement Limited 2010 to date. He is also Chairman Villa Press Ltd 2011 to date, Chairman Ibom Liquids Company Ltd 2013 to date, Chairman Idems Property & Real Estate Management Ltd 2013 to date, and Chairman Stanford Microfinance Bank Ltd 2015 to date. |
Mrs. Helen Idem – Vice Chairman/Director Human Resources Beside most successful men are virtuous women of intellect and unwavering commitment and dedication. This is the case with Engr. (Mrs.) Helen Idem, who in recognition of her role, resigned from her Engineering Profession and the comfort of working with a Multi-National company to sit atop a bough of communications and other conglomerates. She had her basic education at Christ the King International Nursery & Primary School Uyo, and Immaculate Conception Secondary School Itak, Ikono LGA of Akwa Ibom State before proceeding to the United Kingdom for her Higher Education. A Glasgow College of Nautical Studies Marine/Mechanical Engineer graduate, United Kingdom, Mrs. Idem served as Engineering Officer in various companies and government departments, which include: – The Anglo-Eastern Ship Management, United Kingdom, the Shell Ship Management Ltd. United Kingdom and the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG). She brings on board rich working experience in top management and executive positions spanning over decade. She is Vice Chairman and Director Admin & Human Resources of the Bank. |
Prof. Leo Ukpong – Director Finance Accounts & Budgets He is Professor of Finance and Business Economics is the Dean: Faculty of Business Administration, University of Uyo. He comes on board with rich private sector and academic background as the Director Finance, Accounts and Budget. He obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc in Economics from Alabama A&M University, Huntsville in the USA. He later bagged an MBA in Finance from State University of New York, Binghamton. He was to later get another M.Sc in Energy and Petroleum Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and later PhD in Finance from the same university in May 1995. He has rich public and private sector background. He has worked as Financial/Cost Accountant and later Financial Analyst at IBM Endicott New York, Financial Economist for Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. He was CEO Institute for African Awareness, Baltimore, Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor of Finance Morgan State University Baltimore USA. Upon his return to Nigeria, he was Professor of Finance and Business Economics American University of Nigeria Yola, Chairperson Department of Accounting, Finance & Business Economics, Dean School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Dean School of Post Graduate School, . He has over 40 publications and researches to his credit; served in various committees both within and outside the university. He has been Visiting Professor of Finance Ramkhamhaeg University Bangkok Thailand, Visiting Professor of Finance Ghana Institute of Public Policy & Management, Economic Consultant to Central Bank of Tanzania, etc. He teaches and supervises undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral degree students across the globe. He is member to several professional Bodies. |
Prof. Ntiedo Umoren – Director Policy, Strategy & Business Development He is Professor of Applied Management and Decision Sciences, an erudite scholar and an accomplished technocrat spanning over 2 decade. He currently works as Senior Lecturer, Department of Banking and Finance, University of Uyo. He holds a Diploma in Advanced Marketing, B.Sc in Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies, MBA and PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Centre for Business Studies, Greenwich London, the Polytechnic of South Bank, London England, US International University Bushey England and Walden University, Minneapolis USA. He has worked as District Manager, Primerica Financial Services, Home Equity Accountant Chevy Chase Bank, Consulting Accountant, Accountants on Call and Vice President Diamond Consult International Inc. As a University Don, he has produced scores of Bachelors, Post Graduate and Doctoral Degree Students in areas such as Manpower Development and Planning, Industrial Relations, Corporate Planning, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Management, Project Management and Bank Management, etc. He has over 34 publications, 50 seminar and conference presentations to his credit. |
Mr. Imoh Emeh – Director Credit, Sales & Marketing He has over 20 years cognate banking experience having risen through the rank and file of banking to become a top notch highly creative and innovative banker. He began as an Executive Trainee with former Citizens International Bank now Heritage Bank Plc. He was Funds Transfer/Treasury Operations Officer, Cash Officer with the responsibility of Cash Management, Funds Transfer, Foreign Exchange, etc. He rose to become Head, Credit and Marketing, later Branch Manager; Network Executive and later Acting Regional Head of South Bank II Region. He helped to grow of the bank’s customer base, balance sheet and branch network. In 2014, he founded Bokan Trust Investments Limited, an investment and financial consultancy firm with interest in portfolio management, loan recovery, micro credits and SME consulting. In June 2014, he answered the call to serve his state as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Projects Monitoring. Following the inauguration of a new administration, he was re-appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Social Re-orientation in December, 2015. He holds a B.Sc Chemistry, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. He has attended various career development courses/programmes relevant to his career. He is member to various professional bodies. |
Mr. Ignatius Ebozele Agboneni – Director Risk Management, Audit & Compliance Ignatius has over two decades of banking experiences in relationship and risk management. In the last seventeen years of his career, he has largely occupied leadership position in Credit Risk Management borne out of broad experience and leadership skills. He started his career with Bendel State Advisory Committee (SAC) on Micro Finance Project for the creation of jobs under the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) scheme. He later joined Pinnacle Commercial bank, and later moved on secondment as Manager, Credit/Mortgage, STB Building Society. In 1999 he joined Fidelity Bank and helped changed the bank from Merchant to Commercial Bank. He joined Ecobank Nigeria Plc in 2004 as a risk Manager with responsibility for Credit Administration. He pioneered the setting up of a new Regional Risk Management Office of the Bank in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT/ABUJA) and later moved to the North as the Regional Risk Manager. He was recalled to Lagos from Abuja in 2009 as Head of Credit. At the Group level (ETI), he carved a niche for himself and recognized for his good credit knowledge, steadfastness and uprightness. He was sent on secondment to Tanzania in 2012 as the Country Risk Manager. On his return from Tanzania, he assumed leadership of managing the entire remedial portfolio. Ignatius was rewarded for his consistent hard work and contribution to the bank’s success with a promotion from Senior Manager to Assistant General Manager (AGM). In 2013, in what has become a trend in his illustrious career, he was again deployed to South/South South/East as the Regional Risk Manager. He led the credit faculty of the bank’s training school providing scholastic and managerial knowledge to trainees. Ignatius is synonymous with Commitment, Passion, Dynamism, Drive, Team Work, Enthusiasm, Resourcefulness, and Delivery. |
